How do i tell my mom i want makeup?
I’m 14 and 11 months old! i’m turning 15 on the 23rd of december…I recently got into the beauty videos on youtube…
My mom got me some eyeliners and lipglosses etc a while, and i have a mascara too, but i wanna order a coastal scents palette,and i would need brushes too, so i wanna get them from E.L.F(eyeslipsface.com)…And some other stuff from there…The thing is i need to order quickly, cuz ELF doesn’t deliver in my country, so i’ll need to give my aunt’s address who’s coming here on the 28th…So gimme some quick tips…Not something like “go shopping with her” “after some days ask her” or whatever…And ya, i asked her if i could get the clinique 3 step skin care, and she’s like chemicals aren’t good for skin…as if taking antibiotics is (every time i get a breakout, she’s like you need to go to the doctor and get medicines! LOL!)
We aren’t very close…
I’d just be honest with her. I was so afraid to tell my mom I want to start wearing makeup, it made me feel awkward, but she was surprisingly cool with it. One day in the car, or when you are just together, mention it. Be blunt, I’m sure she’ll understand she was a teenager once too. Explain to her what you want and why you want it, just be nice about it, don’t try to hide it, just do it.
